Uniqlo extends recycling initiative to schools

February 01, 2013 (Japan)

Students will then announce the start of their donation drives and collect clothing on their own. After the donated apparel is delivered to refugee camps around the world, UNIQLO will submit final reports to each participating school.
Project Period : June 2013 to March 2014

 All-Product Recycling Initiative

From the 2006 launch of the All-Product Recycling Initiative to November 2012, FR collected about 19 million articles of clothing. About 75% of the items that it receives are in good enough condition to be worn again.

The company is determined to extend the natural life cycle of the clothing it produces by donating wearable, secondhand garments to those who need them. Since 2007, FR has donated the clothing it collects through the All-Product Recycling Initiative to people in need throughout the world, particularly individuals who live in refugee camps.
