Uniqlo to open first mega store in Tohoku

UNIQLO announces plans to open its first mega store in the Tohoku region of northeastern Japan on Friday, March 15. Featuring a 3,300 square-meter sales floor, the new Sendai Izumi Store will be one of UNIQLO's biggest stores.

The spacious sales floor is designed to make it easy for customers to navigate the store and browse for truly great clothing. Located in Sendai, the region's largest city, this new store property will offer a huge lineup including many items currently only available at select UNIQLO stores in Tokyo.

With state-of-the-art in-store fixtures and displays featuring a selection of superbly coordinated outfits, the Sendai Izumi Store will bring the latest in UNIQLO style to customers throughout the Tohoku region.

The UNIQLO Brand's Newest and Largest Store in the Tohoku Region

The UNIQLO Sendai Izumi Store will become the brand's biggest store in the Tohoku region of northeastern Japan. With a sales floor of 3,300 square meters, it will be one of UNIQLO's largest single-floor stores anywhere in the world.

Part of UNIQLO's wider drive to open bigger stores, this exciting new store is set to become only the 11th location worldwide with a sales floor that tops the 3,300 square meter mark. With stores of this scale set to play a key role in UNIQLO's global strategy going forward, the Company is delighted that the Tohoku region will host a UNIQLO mega store.

New Mega Store to Offer Stunning Lineup

The UNIQLO Sendai Izumi Store will feature a huge range of clothing, offering shoppers in the Tohoku region many items previously only available in UNIQLO stores in downtown Tokyo. With a total of some 600 items on display, the UNIQLO Sendai Izumi Store will offer great lines of men's, women's, kids and baby clothing.

Featuring items for all ages and lifestyles, UNIQLO's latest mega store will have something for everyone! All visitors to the store are sure to find at least one item that is perfect for them.

Four-Day Opening Sale at the UNIQLO Sendai Izumi Store

To celebrate the store's launch UNIQLO will be offering visitors to the UNIQLO Sendai Izumi Store many signature items at stunning, one-time promotional prices for four days from Friday, March 15 through Monday, March 18. UNIQLO invites shoppers to mark these dates in their calendars and drop in to discover which great items are on sale.
