Everlast extends apparel contract with boxing star Wilder

Everlast Worldwide, Inc., the global leader in fight sports and fitness, has extended the exclusive equipment and apparel contract with American heavyweight boxing contender, Deontay Wilder. An undefeated knockout specialist, Wilder has received praise from many in boxing, including heavyweight kingpin and training partner, Wladimir Klitschko.

Under the agreement, Wilder will continue to train exclusively with Everlast equipment and apparel as well as play a prominent role in direct to consumer and retail marketing initiatives. Wilder joined the Everlast team in 2008 following the Beijing Summer Olympics, where he earned a Bronze Medal for Team USA.

"Everlast has a long tradition of working with storied American heavyweights including Mohammad Ali and Mike Tyson ," said Matt Cowan , EVP of Sales, Marketing & Product Development for Everlast.

"Due to his unique athletic ability and dynamic personality, Deontay Wilder has the potential to reign over the division similarly to the great fighters of the past.
