T-Group Solutions Pvt. Ltd. will be joining the ranks of WRAP’s accredited consultants. This move builds on the company’s positive relationship with WRAP, as they had been a monitoring partner for the past two years. Switching roles from monitor to accredited consultant was not a difficult transition, says Avedis Seferian, WRAP’s President and CEO.

“We are excited to welcome T-Group as an accredited consultant. Our previous connection with them as a monitoring partner, combined with their broader consulting expertise, makes them an excellent choice for this role. As we look to grow WRAP’s presence in India, T-Group’s knowledge and resources will compliment WRAP’s already strong resources in the south and give us a great ally in the north,” says Seferian.

“T-Group is excited and happy to be associated with WRAP and is confident in contributing to building up better work place standards under the dynamic guidance of Avedis,” says Srinivas Pokkunuru, T-Group’s CEO, who brings with him 24 years of experience in the field of social compliance and ethical work place standards.

“We acknowledge WRAP’s initiatives and support them in their efforts. As we enter this new partnership, we look forward to share as we learn, our expertise in the field of our operations, in achieving and maintaining sustainable social compliance standards,” adds Pokkunuru.

Based in Gurgaon, India, T-Group was one of the first companies in India to audit and monitor labor standards for production units making apparel, footwear, hard-goods, and accessories for export. The company has expanded to several other areas including factory improvement projects, supply chain mapping, risk analysis, auditing C-TPAT standards, training, and product inspection services for the garment industry.

They employ 12 full-time staff; 6 in garment inspections and 6 in social compliance. Additional offices are located in Delhi, Bangalore, and Bangladesh and the company is also active in Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Mauritius, and Madagascar.
