“The companies demonstrated incredibly dynamism presenting many innovations in the area of shapewear, loungewear and accessories,” said Christian Kasch, Project Manager at CPM. “We make an effort to also give newcomers in the lingerie sector an opportunity here. I am delighted that we were also able to present very many high-quality collections,” Kasch continued.
Elfenhaut, Nils Bohner, Weiss, November Lingerie and Juju Lingerie are the new labels featured here from Germany. BonBon Lingerie, Les Jupons de Tess, Nika Sobolevskaja and Gints Bude were the international newcomers. This advancement shows how it is possible to introduce new collections onto the market.
Daily at 3 pm the range at CPM Body&Beach – also including the likes of Maidenform, DKNY and Scandale – was presented in an impressive and well attended fashion show. Another highlight in the show calendar was the fashion show care of Triumph on the second day of the fair.
“We were visited by the right customers and hope that the number of visitors goes up even more next time,” said Bruno de Beaudéan, Export Manager at Ritratti, Italy. Andreas Frei, Sales Director at Zimmerli of Switzerland also confirmed: “Here in the CPM Body&Beach segment a good working atmosphere prevails and customers feel at home. All the buyers we had arranged appointments with beforehand also turned up.”
Also posting a ‘full house’ was the Intimoda Russian Lingerie Market Forum which opened on the 2nd day of the fair in the Intimoda Lounge. For half a day top notch speakers like Giulio D’erme from Triumph International, Giulia Pterskaia and Alexy Evgheniev from New Wild Orchid and Sergey Tsvetkov from LTC held very well received lectures on the topic of ‘lingerie’. At the following get-together exhibitors in the CPM Body&Beach segment and trade buyers were able to exchange ideas and continue their networking in a relaxed setting.
CPM Body&Beach is a segment at CPM – COLLECTION PREMIÈRE MOSCOW that was held at the Expocentre exhibition grounds in Moscow from 26 February to 1 March 2013. A total of 19,800 buyers attended the fair – which is the largest fashion fair in Russia with over 58,000 m² and 1,600 collections from 31 countries.
