AEPC to organize mega apparel & textile show in Tokyo

Apparel Export Promotion council (AEPC) shall once again be participating in International Fashion Fair, Tokyo scheduled from 17-19 July, 2013 along with SRTEPC, TEXPROCIL and WOOLTEXPRO and other EPCs as organizing partners under the aegis of MOT. Over 25,000 trade visitors attended the IFF show last year in July, 2012.
On the basis of recommendations of the Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of Commerce has approved funding under Market Access Initiative for the Mega Apparel & Textile Show in Tokyo, Japan
MAI support is for 160 booths in the fair.
For proper showcasing of Textile sector, the allocation of booths is proposed as per following:
Cotton fabric and made-ups : 30 booths
Synthetic fabrics: 30 booths
Woodland other products: 30 booths
Readymade garments: 70 booths
The Mega Show is being organized under the MAI Assistance Scheme of Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India.
