Icebreaker, the New Zealand company that pioneered the outdoor merino wool apparel category, announced today that Kristen Celko is joining the Icebreaker leadership team as Vice President of eCommerce and Digital Marketing.

Celko will direct Icebreaker’s global eCommerce strategy and be responsible for building all eCommerce business and digital marketing campaigns. The company currently has online stores in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Germany. She will be based at Icebreaker’s US headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

“eCommerce is a critical aspect of Icebreaker’s sales strategy, and we’re thrilled to have Kristen bring her deep retail and digital expertise to our team,” said Jeremy Moon, Founder and CEO of Icebreaker. “She has a proven track record in elevating brands digitally, and we’re excited to have her strengthen and expand our eCommerce capabilities globally.”

Celko is an experienced digital professional with more than 10 years in eCommerce and digital marketing leadership roles in multi-channel retail. Since beginning her career in management consulting with Arthur Andersen, she has held retail leadership positions with Neiman Marcus Online, Under Armour Performance Apparel, UK Based STA Travel Group and most recently David’s Bridal, Inc.

“I'm very excited to become part of an organization with a proven passion for innovation and excellence that is wholly apparent in the product, culture and brand DNA,” said Celko. “Icebreaker has quickly attracted savvy active and lifestyle advocates who are wowed by the performance and comfort of the finest natural merino fibers. I look forward to growing global consumer awareness and affinity for the Icebreaker brand."
