Victoria's Secret & Calvin Klein to partake in Peru Moda

Premium labels like Victoria’s Secret, Calvin Klein, Cacharel and Zara are going to participate in the sixteenth edition of the major Peruvian fashion event Peru Moda, slated to be held from April 10-12, 2013, in the capital city of Lima.

Exhibiting the best of Peruvian fashion industry, in terms of apparels and accessories, the event also acts as a global platform to promote local brands and designers.

Attracting nearly 2,000 buyers from Mexico, Brazil and the Nordic countries, the fair will feature over 227 exhibitors displaying their latest readymade garment ranges and textile industry related products and services.

Peruvian designers like Sergio Davila, Sumy Kujón, Meche Correa, Jose Miguel Valdivia, Lorena Pestana, Harumi Momota, Gleny Castro and Claudia Armenteras Rosary Lira along with the Mexican fashion talent Maria Rosario Mendoza will feature their fresh catwalk collections at the event.

Peru Moda is being organized by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for export and tourism PROMPERU in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Association of Exporters (ADEX), the Lima Chamber of Commerce, the National Society of Industries, Trade Society of Peru and the Peruvian Institute of Crafts.
