American Swan, an online fashion and lifestyle brand, is now the official lifestyle clothing partner of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Pune Warriors India (PWI).

Following the announcement by the brand, the PWI team would now be seen donned in co-branded American Swan apparels.

Expressing delight over their association with PWI, American Swan Director & CEO Anurag Rajpal said as a brand their brand communication and marketing strategies would focus on developing a link between the youth and young achievers, through their products.

Following its digital and social marketing drive, the online brand would persuade PWI team to make a social buzz.

As a result of this drive, the customers, Facebook fans and followers of the brand on twitter will get a chance to take part in several contests, campaigns and promos on social media channels and e-commerce website. The prizes for the contests include a chance to meet star players of PWI, free passes to their matches and merchandise signed by PWI team members.

PWI Spokesman Abhijit Sarkar said given the online brand’s approach towards fashion and lifestyle, they had a fair expectation from the brand and its products. However, the products customized by the brand for their team are far better than their expectations, he added.

According to Mr. Sarkar, the brand’s styling ideas well resembles the team’s spirit.

Online shopping has met a huge acceptance due to emergence of social networking and strong liking for social commerce. This is the main reason that American Swan opted for digital marketing as the main source for brand building and trading, Mr. Sarkar added.
