Perfomance Days selects Advansa Ferntree fabric for award

An exciting new product is being introduced for Summer 2015 that combines the best of nature with dual functionality: ADVANSA Thermo°Cool introduces Duoregulation with Merino Wool. ADVANSA partnered in this extraordinary innovation with yarn supplier Südwolle.

The prize winning “Ferntree” fabric consists of 50% of each of these fibers and incorporates a new dimension in function to the natural Merino fibers. All the benefits of the extraordinary properties of ADVANSA´s high performance Duoregulation  fibre technology ADVANSA Thermo°Cool  for advanced thermoregulation and evaporative cooling come together with the outstanding comfort and natural feel of Merino Wool.

This fabric does not absorb as much moisture as pure Merino Wool and is therefore well suited for highly active sports. In addition, the wool insures a naturally effective odor control. The fibers are suitable for all kind of fabrics such as circular knits, flat knits, seamless garments and woven fabrics guaranteeing enhanced comfort.
