Yebhi.com opens 30 virtual stores in Café Coffee Day

Yebhi.com, the popular Indian online shopping portal for home, lifestyle and fashion products, has introduced a new samrtphone-friendly out-of-home (OOH) advertising model to ramp up its sales.
 
The e-commerce site has launched around 30 virtual stores, which would allow people to make direct purchases from virtual walls, in the country’s largest chain of coffee outlets, Café Coffee Day, across Delhi and Bangalore.
 
The initiative features the website’s expansive inventories of clothes and other accessories with corresponding Quick Response (QR) or Near-Field Communication (NFC) codes.
 
By tapping on the codes through smartphones, the customers will be directed to the Yebhi.com portal where they can buy the desired items, which will later be delivered at their doorsteps.
 
Launched in 2009, Yebhi.com website offers apparels, lingerie and home furnishings and other products from a range of some 250 brands.
