The Miroglio Group continues to strengthen its management team. Claudio Bora joins the top management of the textiles-clothing group as director of the Fast Fashion Business Unit.

Bora, who will also form part of the Strategic Management Team set up at Miroglio to direct the management of all Group activities, leaves American colossus Nike where he worked for the last seven years in roles of increasing responsibility both in Italy and overseas, his final role being that of Brand Merchandising Director of Nike Europe (Netherlands).

He will take over from Dino Icardi who will continue to work with the Group until the end of the year, helping to guarantee the smooth handover of the role.

Married with one child, Bora, 44 years of age with a degree in Business Administration, has a highly international career behind him: he had already acquired substantial experience in the footwear and clothing sector before Nike, most notably at the Fornari Group, where he was General Manager Apparel and CEO of Scandinavia and the UK.

His arrival at Miroglio not only fits with the strategy of developing the Group’s primary fast fashion brands – Motivi, Oltre and Fiorella Rubino – at international level, it is also confirmation of the interest that Miroglio’s new direction has attracted on the European professional market.
