Louis Philippe, the identity of the stylish and astute Indian gentleman, in association with GQ India, hosted the fourth edition of the annual GQ Best Dressed Men event. Held at The Mansion, Four Seasons in Mumbai, the evening saw the country’s most stylish men mingle with the swish set of the city.

Power packed with Mumbai’s glitterati, the evening was rapt by the tunes of the live band – Sky Rabbit and DJ–Lost Stories. The soiree saw an eclectic mix of fashion elites including actors Ayushmann Khurrana, Varun Dhawan, Rahul Khanna, Randeep Hooda, Aditi Rao Hydari, Gul Panag; directors Karan Johar, Abhishek Kapoor; designers Rohit Bal, Narendra Kumar, Gaurav Gupta; models Indrani Dasgupta, Kamal Sidhu, Shibani Dandekar, Lisa Haydon, Sonal Chauhan; musicians Monica Dogra, Anushka Manchanda, Ankur Tewari, Manasi Scott; socialites Queenie Singh, Madhoo, Deveika Bhojwani; restaurateurs Nikhil and Natasha Chib, AD Singh; and renowned personalities like Ashok Kurien, Michael Perschke, Sunil Sethi, Sidhartha Mallya, Gregory David Roberts, Nandita Mahtani among other guests at their fashionable best.

Honouring the event Mr. Jacob John, Brand Head, Louis Philippe, said: “Louis Philippe has always paid homage to the urbane and fashion conscious Indian man with an emphasis on what we call the ‘Suave Aesthetic’. GQ India’s Best Dressed Men is a unique event which Louis Philippe is pleased to be associated with as it reflects the best of style and sophistication.”

GQ India’s Best Dressed Men is a definitive list of India’s 50 most stylish men from various industries, which feature as a special in the June 2013 issue, now on stands. While the list is in no particular order of significance, the GQ June cover star Amitabh Bachchan, with his peerless style, encompasses the essence of The Best Dressed.

Commenting on the GQ Best Dressed Men list, Che Kurrien, Editor, GQ India, said: “Each year we put together GQ’s Best Dressed Men in India list with evangelistic fervour and delight. It is, in essence, a celebration of our tribe: Indian gentlemen from a broad range of professions and backgrounds, who intuitively grasp the power of style and know how to harness it to the maximum.”
