Promart CEO bags 'Entrepreneur of Year – Retail' award

After a major evaluation done by Ernst & Young and sponsored by State Bank of India, Punit was honoured with this award from over 25 + nominations in the Retail Business category. The award is focused towards entrepreneurial skills, pioneering new and improved ways of doing business, conceiving a new concept or product and social responsibility towards the environment.

Speaking on the occasion, Punit Agarwal, Promoter & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Promart Retail India Pvt. Ltd said “The recognition of our efforts with this award is very encouraging. I am elated to have won this prestigious award at the 3rd Entrepreneur India Awards, 2013. This award has given a boost to the morale of my colleagues for their immense support and dedication that they have shown towards the organization.

"This will also enhance the confidence of our vendors, customers and last but not the least our team members in the internal functioning of the company. “A majority of the tribute also goes to my childhood friend Ashish as he has been a solid backbone of Promart and it’s with his complete trust and support  in every aspect that we have been recognized in such a short span of time,” elaborated  Punit Agarwal.

The Entrepreneur of the Year-“Retail Business” Award has been conferred to Punit for his achievements in the retail sector, innovation and ideologies bought forward to his business and its impact on the shopping centre industry. Under his leadership, Promart has created that niche in the retail market.
