Promart CEO bags 'Entrepreneur of Year – Retail' award

The Entrepreneur Awards honor excellence in entrepreneurship and recognize visionaries leading businesses with a completion of at least a year in the industry. The awards allows Franchise India to recognize publicly entrepreneurs in the Retail and SME industry that demonstrate a true sense of innovation, dedication to the industry and the tenacity to persevere through business and economic challenges.

The award aims to recognize and facilitate achievers, innovators, suppliers, manufacturers and facilitators who have contributed significantly towards the development of retail in India.

This year saw participation of over 500 + nominations and 300 + companies which included many major players in the industry competition for awards across 27 categories in retail segment. The finalists were chosen after an intensive, four-stage search and selection process which included expert reviews, reference checks, site visits and a high profile jury meeting in June 2013.

This is Promart’s second accomplishment wherein the company has significantly contributed to the growth of the industry. Earlier, Promart was also recognized as most admired value fashion retailer of the year at the 13th edition of the Images Fashion Awards 2013.
