The first edition of Childcare Madrid 2013, a show extending a unique opportunity for producers, distributors and suppliers of children, baby-care and maternity related products like apparels, etc. to showcase their collections and develop new links with local as well as international buyers, would be held in Spain from October 3 to 6, 2013.

The event is being organized by IFEMA, inspired by the success of “Puericultura Madrid Showrooms” held in October 2012, which resulted in good sales.

Around 300 companies, including the 142 companies who presented at the “Puericultura Madrid Showrooms” held last year, have already confirmed their participation in the event.

The proposed participants include over 20 leading fashion labels catering to babies and pre-mom, who would showcase in Espacio Moda – Fashion Space, an area specifically designed to showcase apparel, footwear and accessories collections.

Chicco, Boboli, Tuc Tuc, tartlet, Chocolat Baby, Adara & Apricot, Essential Minds, Paz Rodriguez, Cuak Cuak, Aden+Anais, Icobaby, Alves, Babylis, Marina Creations and Mjunior by Miralles, are some of the firms that would showcase their apparel collections at the show.

There would also be a special area Marca España, a space coordinated by the Spanish Association of Products for Children (ASEPRI), where a group of export-oriented producers from Spain specializing in maternity and childcare products, would showcase.

The participating companies in the fair would be mainly aiming to capture markets in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Latin American countries.

Aiming to design special activities for retail trade, the show would also host a Retail Forum offering market trends and improvements related training and information to businesses.
