Macau’s Productivity and Technology Transfer Center is organizing a crash course for the domestic garment workers to gain more skills in terms of retailing services.

The ‘Quick Fashion Retail English Elementary’ program is intended to increase the communication skills of local retailers as well as boost their ability to sell the products with professionalism.

According to a statement issued by the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, the economy of Macau has developed rapidly in recent years and many business investors have come to develop new markets.

The course would help the local retailers to master the English language in their daily work to promote product sales as well as enhance individual performance.

Experts from the Hong Kong Institute of Business Development have been invited as professional instructors to train the enrolled retail operators.

The course content includes apparel retail skill points, popular apparel retail vocabulary, business communication, business writing skills (emails, fax and notes), as well as role playing and case studies.
