Coolture brings luxury cooling to the golf industry, where heat typically comes with the turf. National studies highlight the dangers of exertional heat-related injuries associated with golf. Unlike classic heat-related injuries, exertional heat-related injuries do not require extremely high temperatures to cause harm.

Senior golfers are at greater risk due to the fact that most are also managing the side effects of chronic conditions like heart and respiratory concerns – conditions that are worsened by heat.

How to Coolture? Serious golfers are more inclined to pre-cool, which is proven to improve performance in by as much as 21%. Cooling before activity stalls the point at which the body heats up, thereby preventing injury as well.

Tournament golfers like WPGA Pro-Am golfer Maggie Weder, who claims that “heat is my biggest competitor”, choose to recovery cool between and after rounds. Recovery cooling with the Coolture cooling vest helps to maintain endurance and prevent injury.

“I play tournaments in the South all summer long, so this is more than great!" Weder shared. “I practice with it on, but when out to win, I pre-col and recovery cool…and I smile more," she added

Coolture’s lifestyle cooling vest benefits caddies, instructors, club supervisors, and grounds maintenance personnel; anyone who works or plays where heat is inescapable.

Attendees of the PGA Expo can view or trial the Coolture cooling vest on August 19 – 21 at Booth 231. Coolture will award one of their premium cooling vests to the lucky winner of a business card raffle, which will include a customized branding of the winner’s choice.

The annual PGA Expo features new innovations in golf-related fashion, gear, and equipment. It offers seminars, demonstrations, and classes.
