Invista to host next Lycra Rendezvous in Mumbai

After an overwhelming response in Delhi and Bangalore from the apparel Value Chain, INVISTA, the owner of LYCRA fiber brand and one of the world’s largest integrated manufacturer of polymers and fibres is all set to enthrall Mumbai with the next edition of LYCRA Rendezvous to be held on October 16 and 17, 2013 at Hotel Lalit, Sahar Airport Road. The two day event will see participation from many leading value chain players and will showcase INVISTA’s key Innovations for the Apparel industry. 

With a focus on bringing freedom and comfort in garments, INVISTA works with many leading yarn & fabric mills, brands and retailers to develop innovative products specifically for the Indian consumer.

Inviting the Industry to the event, Andrew Evans, Managing Director, South Asia, INVISTA said “Indian consumer is evolving and increasingly looking for value added apparel solutions to make her life comfortable. LYCRA Rendezvous is our way of facilitating the evolution of the industry and bridging the consumer need gaps. I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the Industry stakeholders to come and share their perspective, ideas and challenges for the advancement of the Indian apparel market.”

The first day of the two day event will focus on Knits value chain and will delve into consumer insights and innovative solutions for Underwear, Lingerie and sportswear. On the second day, the event’s spotlight would be on denim and formalwear.

The earlier edition of LYCRA Rendezvous witnessed participation from the key yarn manufacturers, fabric mills, garment makers, brands, retailers and buying houses.

In LYCRA Rendezvous, Mumbai, several key fabric mills from India and overseas are expected to showcase their fabric collection using INVISTA’s innovative fiber and fabric technologies for cotton rich shapewear, No Ride Up underwear for men, long-lasting women’s Ethnic-wear, tough yet comfortable denim for men and more.
