Vizyon presents ‘Marine Rhapsody’ - resort-wear collection, inspired by the sea, and designed by Shradha Murarka. The collection will be showcased at an exclusive Trunk Show at Busaba, co-hosted by Shradha Murarka, Creative Director, Vizyon and fashion stylist Nisha Jhangiani on the 13th of September 2013.

Taking cues from the ocean - its colours and the ebb and flow of tides - Shradha has created a collection that reflects the ease, and languid sophistication of a summer spent by the sea. On the moodboard are also prints from cultures across the world.

Thus, ‘Marine Rhapsody’ is a ready-to-wear- resort collection, made up of pieces like tunics, short dresses, dress shirts, kaftans, halter/cowl tops, skirts and sleeveless jackets in innovative cuts. The silhouettes are easy to wear, and can take you from day to night.

From African motifs, to zebra stripes, to feminine florals such as exuberant bougainvillea and small, coloured blooms, to bold prints of faces, the collection is vibrant, fun and unique.

Shradha has worked with fabrics such as vivid georgettes, soft and flowy crepes, satins and sheer organza to craft a fluid, relaxed vibe. Embellishments in gold, antique details, pearls and scattered embroidery add a touch of opulence.

You could wear pieces from this collection on holiday, to a brunch, and even to work, and then a cocktail.
