adidas and Real Madrid present the Third kit that the team will be sporting for the 2013 /2014 season

Real Madrid fans will be able to buy the new third kit to be worn by their footballing idols this year, at official Real Madrid and adidas retail outlets as well as authorized distributors.

Kick-off time for a UEFA Champions league fixture is always a special moment for Madrid. The city comes to a standstill in tribute to one of the great sporting spectacles of the year.

The day is proclaimed officially over, and the fight for the title in Europe's top football competition commences. These are moments when the orange hues of sunset come alive and charge the city with vibrant energy. This is the energy that Real Madrid will proudly display as it strives to win its 10th Champions League title, under the strapline "real energy. real madrid".

A striking orange colour features prominently in this new Real Madrid kit.

DESIGN

Following in the footsteps of the highly innovative design of the Home kit and the inimitable retro style of the Away kit, adidas and Real Madrid have opted for a unique and differentiated model for its Third kit, which will be worn for official UEFA Champions League matches, with orange highlighted in a highly impactful way, never been used before.

The light orange colour of the jersey stands out prominently, inspired by the colour of the sunsets that serve as the backdrop for UEFA Champions League games. Secondly, its polyester fabric features a special treatment that provides added value.

The design's finish includes details such as metal stripes on the shoulders that remind us of all of the trophies won by the club. In addition the shirt has the Real Madrid logo embossed upon it, and the Real Madrid legend screen printed on the back.

Using CLIMACOOL technology that adidas incorporates into all of its high-performance sports garments; the shirt offers total control against heat and perspiration, optimizing body ventilation.
