In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Cubavera, the influential apparel brand that takes inspiration from its rich Latin heritage, will sponsor a fashion presentation along with Ocean Drive magazine showcasing its spring 2014 collection on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 8:00pm to midnight at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
The event will be hosted by celebrity guests Zuleyka Rivera, telenovela star and Miss Universe 2006, and celebrity stylist Irma Martinez, and will feature a live performance by AXIS Band releasing their new single "Vengo de Alla."
The evening will include a fusion of fashion and music, including traditional Latin rhythms updated with eclectic musical arrangements including rock, pop and classical opera. Also slated are ballet performances and a state-of-the-art audio visual tribute to all that is Latin, embracing a foundation of the Cubavera clothing line's proud heritage.
The evening's thematic inspiration will include a full roster of entertainment including flamenco dancers and an art installation created by the students of the Miami International University of Art and Design, paying tribute to the diversity of Hispanic culture as it is reinterpreted to appeal to today's multicultural audience.
Attendees will also get a sneak peek of Designed with Love by Stephanie, a newly-launched fashion leggings collection for C&C California apparel. Overall, the Hispanic Heritage kick-off event will take you on a journey throughout Latin America, Spain and beyond as Cubavera invites you to "Live the Good Life." It will be a night guaranteed to stimulate your senses.
