"The Russell collection was made for consumers who demand performance and style in their active wear, but don't wish to pay exorbitant amounts to achieve both," said Bill Newton, executive vice president and CMO for Russell Brands. "This apparel delivers on performance and quality, but is priced appropriately for everyone to enjoy."
The Russell line includes 50 performance items for men including tops such as fleece hoodies, bottoms, underwear and socks. The line is made with dri-power 360 materials, that wick moisture away and help keep wearers dry and comfortable, as well as other performance technology at low prices.
"At Walmart, our focus is on offering quality apparel products at amazing prices," added Tom Dougherty, vice president of men's apparel for Walmart U.S. "We don't believe customers should have to pay a premium for top-of-the-line active wear. The Russell line offers top performance products at the low prices our customers expect."
Other features of the Russell line include reflective accents to provide extra visibility in low-light, mesh inserts for increased breathability, stretch fabrications that allow for comfortable fit as well as free range of movement and media loops to keep your cords organized. In addition to the men's line available in all stores, Walmart will offer a boy's line in select stores across the country.
