Brazil's Expobone-2013 attracts 4,000 buyers

The fifth edition of Expobone-2013, National Fair for Suppliers of Raw Materials for Hats and T-shirts, concluded recently in the Apucarana municipality of Brazil’s Parana region, with more than 4,000 buyers from various countries and regions attending the fair.

The three-day fair organized by the National Association of Manufacturers of Hats, Gifts and Similar products (ANIBB) saw participation of various cap manufacturers from countries such as Paraguay, Bolivia, Chile and France as well as from the local Brazilian regions such as Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Sao Paolo and more.

According to a statement issued by ANIBB, the fair is aimed at providing a meeting platform for various entrepreneurs and buyers to learn about new machineries, trims and fabrics for manufacturing hats and t-shirts.

The Governor of Parana, Beto Richa said the production of caps is of national significance and the Expobone fair held in Apucarana highlights the quality of caps made in Brazil as well as provides a platform to market these caps to various buyers.

The fair had various entrepreneurs displaying different kinds of hats and caps, all made of cloth, as well as machineries and equipments for manufacturing these caps.
