CIGF 2013 sees participation of 200 global apparel brands

The China (Dalian) International Garment and Textiles Fair (CIGF) 2013 concluded recently at the World Expo Centre in Dalian city of China’s Liaoning province, with more than 200 international apparel brands exhibiting at the fair.

The four-day exhibition saw participation of around 1,000 textile and garment exhibitors from over 20 countries and regions, including Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Italy, Spain, Germany, Spain and Poland.

The expo held under the theme ‘Dream: Age of Couture’ featured a wide and comprehensive display of latest developments in the garment industry as well as new fashion trends.

The international fair organized by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the China Textile Industry Association and the Dalian regional government, aims at providing a platform to expand domestic exports, exchange world’s fashion information, showcase fashion trends in China as well as display overseas apparel and textile trends.

The apparel brands exhibiting at the fair showcased menswear, womenswear, kidswear, casual wear, business wear, outdoor wear, sportswear, knitwear, denim, lingerie, swimwear, hats and headdresses and more.
