Replay unveils new FC Barcelona official clothing line

Matteo Sinigaglia, Fashion Box CEO, welcomed first team players of FC Barcelona together with coach, Gerardo Martino, at Replay’s flagship store in Barcelona to present and  personally hand them the new Replay official clothing line which has been exclusively designed for the Club.

International stars such as Leo Messi, Xavi, Andrés Iniesta, Neymar and Piqué shared this moment with Matteo Sinigaglia during the event, which took place at the Replay store on Paseo de Grácia, 60 and also counted on the presence of the Brazilian supermodels Isabeli Fontana and Ana Beatriz Barros.

The Italian company Fashion Box, which boasts a series of top quality denim lines under the Replay, Replay & Sons, We Are Replay and Red Seal brands, has signed a four year deal with FC Barcelona as official clothing and footwear  sponsor.

True to the singularly attractive style of play that has characterized FC Barcelona throughout the years, Replay has created both a collection of formal clothing and a "smart casual" line. Replay has devised a new way to use denim: where the traditional jeans concept embraces the realm of fine tailoring. In this way, the famous indigo fabric, which dresses the FC Barcelona athletes, becomes a deluxe textile creating a unique and exclusive superlight formal suit.

The suit itself has been reinterpreted by Replay with a two button jacket, applied pockets and traditional Replay slim fit, whilst the “grana” inner-lining recalls the club’s traditional colours. The look is finished-off with Replay’s hallmark red metallic “R” on the jacket’s lapel and a small pin with the Barça’s  renowned emblem on the silk tie.

Matteo Sinigaglia commented: “We are delighted to dress the greatest team of all time. With this new pieces we are redefining the formal fashion world merging it with the denim culture, and this is just the first step for us. We will be continuing to develop new and exciting initiatives, creating synergies between our respective brands, which will ensure a winning streak for both Replay and FC Barcelona, on and off the field.”

According to Antoni Rossich, General Director of FCB, the agreement with Fashion Box is highly satisfactory for the Club and meets all expectations, both in terms of the prestige of the brand and the designs of the new garments. “Replay’s proposal has personality and presents a style we can identify with. It transmits dynamism, modernity and elegance at the same time. Fashion Box is a leading company in its sector and we share the international vocation of wanting to reach clients and supporters all around the world.”

Fashion Box, which was founded in 1981, has its HQ in Asolo (Treviso), and currently sells to over 50 countries all over the world - in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, America and Africa . The company has its own chain of 200 independent shops and a distribution network which covers over 3,000 multi-brand selling points.

The company promotes and markets casual wear, shoes and accessories for men, women and children under the brand names Replay, Replay & Sons, We are Replay and Red Seal.
