The new store with approximately 30,000 square feet has been renovated and modeled with an open layout in a loft-like boutique-style space, and will be situated at a prominent location in the outlet mall. With over 800 designer labels and the season’s latest styles, shoppers will be able to enjoy a luxurious fashion destination with quality products at an extraordinary value.
“The Washington DC metropolitan area is a great market for us and we are very excited to be replacing our current store with our brand new luxury in loft experience. Our innovative new design will transform how customers experience outlet shopping in the Potomac Mills,” said Robert Wallstrom, President of Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH. “Shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH is all about discovery. The joy of finding the best in luxury, the thrill of finding a deal – it is our mission to share both with our new store.”
Conceived as a luxury-in-a-loft environment, customers will shop off-the-runway trends in a space as intimate as their favorite local boutique, but with the selection and service only Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH can provide. The store is designed to maximize efficiency and flexibility, enabling easy changes in the general layout.
The space will be bright, uncluttered, with no hard aisles and one consistent hard surface floor throughout. All fixtures will be on casters, ensuring ease in movement, and all hardware will be interchangeable between fixtures. With this newly expanded space, our renovated location will feature a larger selection of covet-worthy fashion from top contemporary designers.
“We’re thrilled to have Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH complete its impressive new location, which will give shoppers another great reason to enjoy Potomac Mills’ unbeatable selection of distinctive retailers offering up to 70% off every day,” said Andrea Spessard, general manager at Potomac Mills.
“The Grand Opening of this new Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH store is a complement to our growing mix of name brands, retailers and popular new restaurants, which further brand us as the leading outlet and value retail shopping destination in the Washington, DC area.”
Customers will have access to a distinctive assortment of designer and contemporary brands available at outlet prices, including women’s and men’s apparel, jewelry, handbags, shoes and children’s collections.
Women will find the season’s most sought-after women’s wear trends such as bold prints, biker jackets, tailored skirts and fall statement pieces. Men will find a wide range of designer brands ranging from sportswear, contemporary to formalwear. Shoppers will also be able to find a large assortment of fine jewelry items by top designers ranging from diamond tennis bracelets to sapphire earrings to glamorous emerald necklaces.
