Vietnam’s capital city of Ho Chi Minh is all geared up to host the Vietnam Fashion Fair 2013 (VIFF 2013), scheduled to be held from November 1 to 6, 2013, at the Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Center.

According to a statement issued by Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), the fashion fair co-organized by VITAS and the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (VINATEX, would have nearly 100 domestic and international apparel and textile firms belonging to various countries such as China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea etc., participating at the event.

The exhibition is held annually in order to introduce the production capacities of apparel and textile enterprises of Vietnam to different domestic as well as foreign firms partaking in the event.

To be held under the theme ‘Rhythm Time’ the fashion fair would have exhibitors showcasing latest developments in the fashion industry of Vietnam and the new autumn/winter 2013 collections of various enterprises operating in the country’s fashion sector.

The six-day event would also offer various opportunities to the domestic apparel enterprises for expanding relations, creating joint ventures, increasing cooperation in production purposes, as well as boosting the supply chain linking local and international textile and apparel firms.

Under the expo, the organizers would also host several workshops focusing on the development strategies for the Vietnam textiles sector as well as the orientation of the core strategy of VINATEX to receive benefits from various bilateral and multilateral agreements.
