Carhartt to launch new Quick Duck brand campaign

Carhartt, America's premium work wear apparel brand since 1889, is launching a new advertising campaign showcasing the company's proprietary lightweight Quick Duck outerwear that encourages consumers to build do-it-yourself dream projects. The multi-week campaign will tell the Quick Duck story through useful do-it-yourself projects with blueprints to build a dog house, a fire table, a toboggan and more.

Carhartt's exclusive Quick Duck outerwear is durable, and lightweight.  Quick Duck is 30-percent lighter than Carhartt's traditional sandstone outerwear while maintaining the signature durability ounce for ounce. Reinforced with Rain Defender, Carhartt's proprietary durable water-repellent finish, Quick Duck takes on the rain and cold conditions workers face every season.

"There is no question our consumers work hard," said Tony Ambroza, Carhartt's vice president of marketing. "Through this campaign, we want to inspire them to go out and tackle a passion project- to use these blueprints in their spare time to build something fun to share with friends and family. It's all about the people who know how to use their hands to create things that they find inspiring."

The integrated national campaign will run primarily across sports programming networks, magazine print advertising, websites, targeted newspaper advertising and in thousands of retail stores in North America till December.

"Our goal is to make our products as essential to our consumers as the tools in their tool belts. Just like they reach for their saw or hammer to get the job done, we know they will also reach for their Carhartt when they want to do the job right," said Ambroza.

"Our Quick Duck line is the best of both worlds offering classic Carhartt design details combined with the innovation of a lightweight durable fabric. Lighter weight fabric with Rain Defender means you can get the job done quicker, easier and with less fatigue no matter the weather."

At 8.5 ounces, Carhartt's exclusive Quick Duck cotton and polyester blend is built with a durable water-repellent Rain Defender finish. The Quick Duck apparel offering includes the Quick Duck Woodward Active Jac, the Quick Duck Woodward Traditional Jacket, the Quick Duck Woodward Vest and new for fall, the Quick Duck Woodward 3-In-1 Parka, the Quick Duck Roane Hooded Shirt Jac, the Quick Duck Woodward Bib Overall, the Quick Duck Woodward Jacket for women and even Quick Duck for kids including the Quick Duck Woodward Parka for boys and the Quick Duck Snowsuit for toddlers and infants. The Quick Duck line also includes headwear, the Quick Duck Anmoore Cap.
