Entertainment One is pleased to announce that it will bring So So Happy children's products to Walmart Canada, beginning fall 2013. So So Happy taps into young people's universal desire for love, acceptance, and respect.

Created by a mother whose son was bullied throughout his school years, the off-the-wall characters send a positive message about individuality, inner strength, and being true to yourself. So So Happy encourages kids to embrace each day as a gift, make a conscious decision to live a happy life, and to never miss an opportunity to practice love, respect, and kindness.

Founder Cindy Bailey was inspired by her life experiences with her eldest son. "I wanted to create something which was fashionable and cool, but also had a message centered on love, acceptance, and self-esteem," says Bailey. In the world of So So Happy, over 80 characters live in harmony despite their differences, described in hilarious detail on the brand's website

SO SO Happy products are featured in specialty shops around the world, including trend-setting boutiques in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Paris, London, and the Harajuku district of Tokyo. The brand is now bringing its cheerful visual style to Canada, with multiple products for kids debuting at Walmart.

Look for collections of girls' and boys' apparel, sleepwear, socks, slippers, beanies, and even infant onesies in stores starting this fall. SO SO Happy greeting cards and party supplies from Hallmark will be available in all stores, and Walmart will also be offering a special SO SO Happy-branded gift card.

The collection was launched in connection with Anti-Bullying Month. "We believe in the power of love, acceptance, and respect and we hope to bring that message to as many people as possible," says Bailey.

The company donates 10% of profits from the brand to groups that help young people in crisis, and is proud to be working with The Breakfast Club of Canada as its charity partner of choice for this program.  The Breakfast Club assists schoolchildren in need by providing nutritious breakfasts - more than 20 million last year - so that they can focus on learning.
