In addition to backers selecting the trouser color, they also voted on the trouser hem fabric pattern. Finn’s cuffed chinos are distinguished from other chinos, in that they incorporate a unique custom fabric hem on the inside of the pant. The Finn Apparel crowdfunding campaign has been an immediate success, approximately doubling the amount of funds that the company was seeking to launch. The excess funding is going to allow for the company to add additional trouser colors and additional apparel, such as the Finn Cochise Hoodie and the Finn Slouch Beanie.
Finn’s product offerings appear to be particularly attractive to fashion forward males and consumers who wish that companies such as J Crew and The Gap, would add that “hip” factor to their respective clothing lines.
