Target plans new store in Miami

Target is pleased to announce plans to open a new store in Miami in October 2014. The new store will be located near the intersection of Northwest 102nd Street and Flagler Avenue. This will be the 31st Target store in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area.

The Miami Flagler store will be approximately 140,000 square feet, and will offer guests the everyday essentials and exclusive brands they have come to expect from Target.

The Miami Flagler location will employ approximately 200 team members. Target will host job fairs approximately two months prior to the new store opening, at which prospective candidates may apply and interview for open team member positions.

“Target is excited to expand its presence in Florida in 2014,” said Stephen Brinkley, Target’s senior vice president of stores in the Southern region. “We are committed to being a good neighbor and developing long-lasting relationships with guests and the Miami community.”
