Beijing to host clothing & accessories fair from March 26

The Chinese capital city of Beijing is all set to host the 22nd edition of the China International Clothing and Accessories Fair (CHIC 2014) from March 26 to 29, 2014, at the New China International Exhibition Center.
 
Organized by the China National Garment Association, China World Trade Center Co., Ltd. and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Textile Industry Branch, the annual event’s 22nd edition would be held under the theme ‘Changed and Unchanged’, which according to the organizers will provide a new look into the changing face of market structure of apparel industry in Asia, business model adjustments, as well lifestyle changes among the consumers.
 
The four-day exhibition is held with the objective of guiding the progress of China’s garment industry and to promote the development of the Chinese clothing brand in the international market. The purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity to apparel manufacturers to create clothing brand promotions, market development, develop into a global apparel brand and showcase their latest products at an international trade platform.
 
Over 600 Chinese exhibitors and 400 international exhibitors from countries like Italy, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Germany, South Korea, the UK and Scotland, would be participating in the show and displaying various ranges of apparel products including menswear, womenswear, casualwear, outdoor apparel, childrenswear, as well as fashion accessories.
 
Among the highlights of the four-day trade fair is a conference on the development of multi-brand stores in China, which would be held parallel to the exhibition, where apparel manufacturers can exchange information about new developments in the apparel industry of China.
