Primark unveils its S/S-14 Modern Couture collection

Primark, the famous Irish high-street fashion chain, has unveiled its print heavy Spring/Summer 2014 collection titled Modern Couture.

Based on a saccharine-dipped fresh colour palette, the range is decorated with prints, inspired from kaleidoscopic tiles and the popular animated television series ‘My Little Pony’.

The bargain brand’s womenswear ensembles include nipped-at-waist voluminous skirts, jackets, bandeau, culottes, spotty frocks and long, flowing, bright floor grazing numbers.

Slated to hit the stores from January, 2014, onwards, the menswear line features sportswear-influenced pieces, enhanced with camouflage, animal, Batik and Hawaiian floral prints.

Made from high-performance fabrics, the line showcases jumpers, shorts, ankle-baring trousers and sharply-tailored, ultra-slim fit suits with satin lapels and polka dot pocket squares.

Founded in June, 1969, Primark operates in countries like Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
