Lenita and XTG, the popular Spanish swimwear brand, has recently opened its 13th outlet in the upmarket Austria Boulevard locality situated in the autonomous community of Valencia.

The newly unveiled store, spread on an area of around 40 sq m, features the brand’s signature menswear and womenswear ranges.

With outlets and franchisees in Madrid, island of Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Tenerife, the brand is currently on an expansion spree and plans to open more stores in some of the most strategic locations in major cities and airports in Spain.

Started with a humble beginning by designing and selling bikinis on the beaches of the Canary Islands, the brand was founded by designer duo Luis Mentado and Lenita Burman in 1985.

Known for its colourful and boldly printed intimate apparel, the brand, which has just started catering for the European winter clothing market, also manufactures homewear, sportswear and trendy fashion accessories.

Part of the Burmen group, Lenita and XTG operates with a staff of 62 employees and has centralised production in the south of China.
