Kammok, a leading innovator in the outdoor adventure equipment industry, introduced the Thylacine series sleeping bag system. The first fully customizable sleeping bag system, Kammok’s Thylacine series gives the customer the ability to create the perfect combination of size and temperature rating in a single bag.

The Thylacine is miles ahead of the traditional sleeping bag and ushers in a new era of comfort, customization and innovation – the first of its kind. Everything known about a sleeping bag has been reimagined, and there has never been anything like it.

“The Kammok Thylacine series allows the user to own one single bag with endless custom combinations to meet the needs of every adventure regardless of climate or location. We have created one of the most unique innovations to hit the outdoor adventure world in recent history.” Greg McEvilly, Kammok CEO

The Thylacine is the first patent-pending, fully customizable sleeping bag system that can be reconfigured as needs and environments change.  Whether mountaineering in Patagonia, trekking the Pinhoti Trail in Alabama, or enjoying a backyard campout with the kids in Texas, the Kammok Thylacine is the only Sleeping Bag system the consumer will ever need to own.

The Thylacine Sleeping Bag System will completely redefine the way sleeping bags are purchased. Kammok’s pioneering Variable Warmth Technology is an industry first that allows the ability to change the actual temperature rating of the bag oneself, creating thousands of customized possibilities.

Kammok’s Variable Warmth Technology delivers complete customization through a system of changeable insulated baffles. The baffles can be filled with synthetic, down, or a hybrid of both types of insulation. Although baffles are common in most sleeping bags, the ability to remove and change the baffles is an entirely new concept specifically designed to meet the needs of every adventure.

Kammok’s Thylacine Sleeping Bag Series prevents cold spots by using a patent-pending technology to keep the baffles in proper position inside the baffle chamber. The baffles are created using an Ultralight downproof fabric that is quilted in order to minimize the migration of insulation. By simply removing or adding baffles to the baffle chambers, you can create the customizable temperature rating you need for whatever adventure awaits.

Kammok is releasing two versions of the sleeping bag system; the Thylacine Ultralight (UL) and the Thylacine Expedition (X). The Thylacine UL is an Ultralight, compressible sleeping bag featuring Kammok’s proprietary Atmos fabric - a super light fabric with innate thermal reflection properties that is silky soft to the touch.

The Kammok Thylacine X is designed to withstand extreme conditions and features Kammok’s proprietary DART Technology.  DART (Dry Advanced Respiration Technology) is an eVent based fabric that is both waterproof and windproof, and includes the Atmos reflective technology on the inner liner.

Kammok’s Thylacine Sleeping Bag Series features patent-pending Customfit adjustments. Customfitallows the length and width of the bag to be adjusted as needed to minimize dead space, thus increasing thermal efficiency and maximized comfort.

The Customfit footbed allows the bag to be adjusted by an extra 3 - 5 inches in length. Five body width adjustments allows for customization of the bag’s width at several critical points: chest, hips, thighs, knees and ankles. Customfit technology is the closest thing to a custom cut sleeping bag that exists.
