Another milestone in the course of wearable technology has been touched in the form of a new smart pullover, which is capable of detecting the wearer’s level of excitement.

The San Francisco-based design lab Sensoree has unveiled a futuristic mood sensing, loose-fitting white turtleneck sweater, incorporated with a lie detector technology.

Dubbed as GER Mood Sweater, the pullover is embedded with Galvanic Extimacy Responder (GER) sensors that gather information from the wearer’s sweat glands and which later are processed and emitted through the LED light attached around the collar.

The collar illuminates with different colours of light based upon the wearer’s moods such as teal for tranquil/zen, blue for calm/relaxed, purple for ruffled/aroused/excited, red for nervous/in love and yellow for nirvana/ecstatic/blissful.

Sensoree specializes in a range of interactive installations promoting extimacy or externalized intimacy.
