Delta Galil's Schiesser unit partners Marc O'Polo

Delta Galil Industries, Ltd., a global manufacturer and distributor of socks, underwear and intimates, announced that its Schiesser AG unit has entered into a licensing agreement with Marc O’Polo International GmbH to produce and distribute men’s and women’s underwear, sleepwear and beachwear under the Marc O’Polo brand for sale in key European markets.

Under the agreement, Schiesser will develop, produce and distribute the Marc O’Polo underwear, sleepwear and beachwear collections for sale in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and other countries, starting in Spring/Summer 2015. Marc O’Polo collections are sold through a variety of quality retailers, Company-branded stores and Marc O’Polo online stores.

The licensing agreement represents a partnership between Schiesser, the leading underwear manufacturer and marketer in Germany, and Marc O’Polo, one of the fastest growing fashion brands in its market. With this agreement, Schiesser is demonstrating its strength as a valued partner for leading lifestyle brands and its ability to develop and grow license opportunities.

Schiesser has a separate team of design, product management and sales professionals dedicated to the Marc O’Polo relationship, with the aim of significantly growing the Marc O’Polo licensed business over the next five years.

Mr. Dabah noted that Schiesser’s strength in both men’s and women’s products, its capacity to develop stylish, high quality collections, and its depth of expertise in European markets were factors that led Marc O’Polo to partner with the Delta Galil unit.
