C.L.A.S.S. and Be Sport partner on eco-sportswear line

It is a campaign to raise awareness towards sustainable consumption in the sports world, through the creation of an ECO-SPORTS collection made with innovative, sustainable and especially high performance fabrics for the sports world.

The ECO-SPORTS collection will be the result of an important path of research and use of fibres and innovative textiles that led to the birth of the first eco high performance sports uniforms for athletes, federations, sports clubs and for all sports lovers.

"I like challenges”, says Giusy Bettoni, “and when Emanuela introduced me to her project we started our adventure, in order for the athletes to learn to use new generation, hi-tech, beautiful and sustainable materials for their training.

“Sportswear in its versatility lends itself to the use of these new materials that are able to win a close contact with the athlete and especially a respectful approach to the nature. On this concept, therefore, we imagined together with Be Sport an eco-sports line, very close to my motto of ‘aesthetics + ethics’.

“I am convinced that the sports world has the right attitude to fall in love with comfortable clothes that are able to thrill. Through athletes, especially the younger ones, we found the most reliable way to put in place the materials of C.L.A.S.S. Eco-Library for training and competitions".

Why an ECO-SPORTS uniform?

“I have been dealing with sports for several years”, confirms Emanuela Grussu, “and when I met Giusy Bettoni for the first time I literally fell in love with the ethical values of C.L.A.S.S. and somehow from the very beginning I felt them very close to Be Sport. Respect, growth and ethics.

“For this reason I really wanted to show my world to C.L.A.S.S. in order to demonstrate that it is possible to tie together sports with the eco-sustainable concept in the technical clothing production.

“Indeed, I am convinced that sport may have so much influence on fashion, and vice versa. Athletes live in clothing their daily workout, touching with every cell of their body fabrics and fibres. Athletes sweat in their uniform, suffer, grow and win in it.

For this reason it is important to provide athletes high performance materials that can become a second skin. What could be better than a high-tech and sustainable fabric at the same time?”
