FIMI Madrid shows latest A/W lines in childrenswear

The 78th edition of the International Children’s Fashion Fair (FIMI) held recently in Spanish city of Madrid saw renowned childrenswear brands showcasing their latest autumn-winter (A/W) collections for the 2014-2015 season.

More than 350 kidswear manufacturers participated and showcased their latest creations on the runway, out of which 46 kidswear firms belonged to the Spanish Association of Products for Children (ASEPRI).

The show opened with renowned Spanish designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada’s collection for which featured striped leggings with hearts on them, as well as raincoats, coats and trendy dress all in the color palette of pink, orange, green and purple.

Spanish kidswear brand Oh!Soliel presented a more fun collection for teenage girls aged 8 to 16 years under the theme ‘Travel Town’, which featured high waist skirts combined with point velvet pajama pants, asymmetric jackets quilted with flower print folk, embroidered shorts and ruched dresses with details of sequins, tulle, embroidery, and soft twill lining, in the color palette of purple, green mint, off-white, light blue, bottle green and red.

Knitwear manufacturers Carmen Roldan presented wide variety of garments for kids aged 0 to 16 years combining comfort and elegance with finished handicraft details with lace and fabrics. The collection featured long coats, dresses, cardigans, trench coats, rompers, ponchos and shawls, all in bright hues.

The three-day event saw A/W collections from various other kidswear brands such as Tuc Tuc, Mayoral, Name It, Barcarolle, Boboli, Elisa Menuts, Jib, Oca Loca, Sanmar and more.
