Cintas Corporation, released its annual Sustainability Report, demonstrating its commitment to being a good corporate citizen in the communities in which the company does business. The report includes Cintas’ sustainability results from the past fiscal year and updates on the company’s environmental, safety, diversity, and social responsibility goals.

“The manner in which our employee-partners have embraced and incorporated the concept of sustainability into their daily work practices is more than noteworthy,” said Scott Farmer, Cintas CEO.

“When we compile our Corporate Sustainability report, it is more than gratifying to see the way Cintas’ employee-partners have responded to the call for sustainability in the form of diversity, citizenship and workplace safety, in addition to their endorsement of and commitment to sound environmental practices.”

The report shares specific progress in Cintas’ sustainability focus areas, which include: Safety, Diversity & Inclusion, Environmental Impact, and Community Involvement. Cintas reported a 60% reduction in Total Recordable Incident Rates since January 2008, which continues to be an area of great emphasis for the company.

Cintas’ on-going work with Six Sigma enhances the innovation of its products and safety practices both for its employee-partners and for Cintas customers. Other highlights from this year’s report include an overview of the company’s and employees’ efforts to better the lives of people in the communities in which Cintas does business.

“30,000 Cintas employee-partners are responsible for our recent financial success and sustainability leadership position,” recognizes Scott Farmer of the company’s overall success. “I am fortunate to have this opportunity to say, `Thank you!’”
