5,200 visitors attend MOSSHOES footwear fair in Moscow

Around 5,200 visitors from 280 cities of Russia and the neighboring CIS countries participated in the 58th International Specialized Exhibition for Shoes, Bags and Accessories, ‘MOSSHOES 2014’ fall/winter edition held last month in the Russian capital city of Moscow.
 
Over 500 leading enterprises manufacturing shoes, bags and accessories from more than 27 countries such as Italy, Germany, Turkey, Poland, France, Great Britain, Spain, Portugal, China, Finland, Austria, Brazil, Vietnam, Slovenia, as well as CIS countries, exhibited their latest fall/winter 2014-15 collections at the four-day fair.
 
The event, held four times in the year—in January, March, June and September—is touted as one of the biggest footwear fairs in Eastern Europe and is considered as a platform for international footwear companies to get together and reflect on the global footwear industry trends.
 
Leading international footwear brands such as Avenir, Anta, Flamingo Kids, Russky Brat, Editex, Skratti, Arman, Castor Anatomic, Jog Dog and others showcased their latest 2014-15 fall/winter collections at the January edition of the trade show.
 
Several business programs and seminars were also held parallel to the show where entrepreneurs operating in the footwear industry were given the opportunity to discuss about the latest trends in the sector, as well as establish business contacts with international buyers.
 
Exhibitors showcased various footwear products such as men’s footwear, women’s footwear, children’s footwear, bags, accessories and more during the four-day show. The next edition of the MOSSHOES fair is scheduled to be held from March 24 to 27, 2014.
 
 
To connect manufacturers and suppliers with buying houses and fashion brands, Fibre2fashion.com is coming up with an online fair on Leather Skin Show 2014” scheduled in Mid March-2014.
