Premium Lifestyle Brand, FREECULTR was awarded “Store Concept of the Year”, for its innovation in retail at the Economic Times Retail Awards, held in Mumbai on March 21, 2014. Recognized for the brand’s best practices and pioneering store concept, this prestigious accolade cements the position of FREECULTR as a thought leader in the retail sector.
 
Having launched operations in 2011, FREECULTR has been able to successfully execute an innovative digital physical store model that blends the tactility of a physical store with the efficiencies of the internet – seamless modern retail at its best. With their recent store launches in New Delhi, Chandigarh and Noida, FREECULTR has implemented this first-of-its-kind hybrid, high tech approach of shopping, offering customers the best of both worlds – online convenience married with offline experience.
 
The Economic Times Retail Awards is designed to celebrate best practices in the retail sector. The Economic Times (ET), India’s leading business daily combines its forces with Retailers Association of India (RAI), the foremost voice for India’s retailers and Knowledge Support PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), to create a property through collaborative effort that truly honors the ones who have mastered the art of retail.
 
The Economic Times developed these retail awards to serve as a level playing field to large and small players in the sector. The categories have been designed in ways that cover all aspects of business, thus ensuring that not a single out-of-the box idea goes unnoticed. The award is an initiative by Times Grey Cell.
