Popular Californian womenswear label BCBG Max Azria is all set to usher in its 25th anniversary with its trademark panache and style by hosting a retrospective exhibit, celebrating the brand’s exceptional achievements over the last quarter century.
Slated to be opened exclusively for public on May, 3, 4 and 10, 2014, at the label’s Vernon city headquarters, the event will highlight the important landmarks in the history of the brand, known for its contemporary designs.
Dubbed as Living the Bon Chic Life, the display will put spotlights on the brand’s ateliers and design process as well as the major advertisement campaign images that have helped in putting BCBG on top of the game.
The exhibition will also include the ‘Red Carpet Hall’ which will feature the exemplary evening gowns and dresses worn by celebrities like Beyonce, Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry and Alicia Keys.
Additionally, a special-edition discount pop-up-shop, selling some of the most popular archival runway ensembles from the house, will be set up as part of the display.
Founded by French fashion designer Max Azria in 1989, the label BCBG Max Azria (where BCBG stands for the French phrase bon chic, bon genre, meaning good style, good attitude in English) is known for designer fashion at affordable price points.
The label is part of the BCBG Max Azria Group, a global fashion house that owns more than 20 brands.
