Another breakthrough invention in wearable technology has been introduced lately in the form of a new line of smart T-shirts that can track biometrics during and after a gym workout session.

Created by the technologywear specialist OMsignal, the gymgear is capable of monitoring the wearer’s heart rate along with variability, breathing rate and volume, movement intensity and burnt calories.

Sewn with health sensors into the fabric, the pieces come with a unique black box which accumulates the data and gives instant information about the workout performance.

Available in black, white and grey with pops of blue and green, the line features four men’s shirts, such as an under-shirt, sleeveless shirt, casual T-shirt and a long-sleeved shirt.

Other than drilling gym sessions, the shirts can also be worn to office to calculate the entire day’s activity and stress levels.

The collection will be available for sale sometime later this year on the company’s website. The firm also plans to unveil a women’s smart T-shirt collection in the future.
