G&K Services, Inc., a leading provider of uniforms and facility services programs, has selected 15 nonprofit organizations to receive annual grants from the G&K Services Foundation. The mission of the G&K Services Foundation is Building Communities that Work, which focuses on helping people reach their full potential, especially in their work and careers.

To support that mission, the Foundation provides financial grants and in-kind donations to organizations and programs that promote sustained, long-term change in education, human services, skills development and self-sufficiency training. G&K also encourages its employees to volunteer their time and talents to provide hands-on assistance to grant recipients.

“We’re proud to support these worthy organizations to make a positive impact in the communities where we do business,” said Jeffrey L. Wright, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. “Our goal is not only to assist these organizations financially but to strengthen them with our time as well, by engaging our employees with volunteer opportunities throughout the year.”

Since its launch in 2005, the G&K Services Foundation has given more than $1.3 million in financial grants to charitable organizations and nonprofits.
