The online luxury fashion retailer Net-a-Porter is gearing up to launch a new sub-site dedicated solely to sportswear.
Dubbed as Net-a-Sporter, the activewear division will feature a variety of high-performing yet stylish womenswear pieces from some 37 brands catering to nearly 11 sports-based activities including tennis, golf, running, yoga, dance, swim and surf.
Slated to be launched on July 9, 2014, the site will feature apparels and accessories from labels like Lisa Marie Fernandez, Zimmermann, L’Etoile Sport, Weargrace, Musto and Bodyism.
Some of the pieces that would be available on the new e-commerce division are thigh-cinching leopard-print leggings, soft tops, saree pants, drop-waist pants and water repellent yoga mats.
Launched in 2000, Net-a-Porter offers a range of latest women’s designer clothing and accessories from over 350 international labels including Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Burberry Prorsum, Miu Miu and Stella McCartney. The retailer ships to over 170 countries.
