The objective of this expo is to expose the Indian business and consumer community to Pakistan-made fashion products and also increase cooperation between Pakistani and Indian businesses.
PRMEA expects to bag export orders for Pakistani garments totaling to around $600 million in the second edition. In the first edition, Pakistani garment exporters walked home with around $400 million in orders.
“Pakistan-made womenswear like products made from lawn fabrics command good demand in India and the overall business can further flourish if Indian government removes all hurdles on Pakistan exports”, PRGMEA said.
PRGMEA has already booked around 25,000 sq feet space at the World Trade Center for the ‘Made in Pakistan Expo’ and expects to book more space as the date of the expo nears.
On the sidelines of the expo, PRGMEA has also arranged meetings between Pakistani exhibitors and producers with Indian buyers and trade delegations to extract maximum benefit from the expo.
