Yebhi.com ropes in global apparel retailers on its portal

Indian online apparel retailer – Yebhi.com, which had recently changed its business model to product aggregator for other ecommerce stores, said it has tied up with overseas fashion brands and retailers.

Yebhi.com has tied up with four leading global fashion retailers - Forever21.com, Shopbop.com, Macys.com and Asos.com, which will allow Indian consumers to shop from these portals.

In the process, Yebhi.com will now offer price comparison of fashion products not only among Indian portals but also from across the globe.

Yebhi said, the mainly apparel and footwear products, will be shipped free to Indian consumers within 3-4 days.

Yebhi.com will also bring in another such 10-15 garment retailers in the next few months, which may include the likes of Bloomindales, Sears, JC Penney and Zara.

Speaking about the new initiative, CEO Danish Ahmed said, “Over the next few years we will see a lot of cross border online retailing, as consumers shop across countries.”

He added, “We want to bring all the worldwide online fashion websites under one platform, wherein consumers may be able to discover the best in fashion.”

Danish Ahmed expects to garner around 10-15 percent of Yebhi.com revenues from the international segment. (AR)
