Undergirl set to design for PEI's Laundry by Shelli Segal

The sportswear and casualwear company Perry Ellis International (PEI) has entered into a license agreement with the New York City-based lingerie specialist Undergirl granting rights to design and distribute intimatewear under the former’s contemporary clothing brand Laundry by Shelli Segal in the US and Canada.
The innerwear collection, which would include shape-wear, sleepwear, loungewear and robes, is slated to be available for purchase sometime during Fall 2015 in leading department stores as well as lingerie websites such as barenecessities.com and figleaves.com.
Oscar Feldenkreis, the president and chief operating officer of PEI, said in a statement, “The success of the Laundry brand is driven by our capability to offer sophisticated styling across our product offerings. We welcome Undergirl’s partnership to enhance the brand's lifestyle portfolio, and are delighted with the potential this collaboration offers in bringing further expansion to our global reach.”
Undergirl’s creative director, David Cohen, also commented on the partnership, “After many years of focusing on organic growth, Undergirl has recently collaborated with leading entertainment properties such as Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox and Live Nation. We are excited to add such a modern, lively, fashion-forward brand like Laundry by Shelli Segal as a part of our expanding, sophisticated and contemporary Intimates and Sleepwear offerings.”
